Brizo is a modern and beautifully presented two-cabin sailing yacht, making her the ideal choice for couples and small families seeking a comfortable and relaxing Ionian sailing holiday. Easy to handle under both sail and power, she offers an enjoyable cruising experience, whether you're island hopping, exploring secluded bays, or visiting the region's picturesque harbours. Below deck, Brizo features a bright, spacious, and thoughtfully designed interior. She comfortably accommodates up to four guests in two well-appointed double cabins, while the saloon seating can be converted into an additional small double berth when required, offering extra flexibility for families. The surprisingly spacious bathroom is well equipped with an electric toilet, while the fully fitted galley includes a gas cooker, oven, refrigerator, and ample storage, providing everything needed to prepare meals on board throughout your cruise. Brizo has also been upgraded with new solar panels, providing increased energy efficiency and greater independence while at anchor, allowing guests to enjoy extended time in the Ionian's beautiful secluded bays. Above deck, she is equally well equipped for comfortable cruising. Her specification includes an in-mast furling mainsail for effortless sail handling, electric winches, a protective bimini for welcome shade, and an external GPS chart plotter for easy navigation. A fold-down bathing platform and passarelle provide safe and convenient access to the water and shore, making swimming and visiting waterfront tavernas effortless. Combining modern design, easy handling, and excellent onboard comfort, Brizo is the perfect yacht for couples and small families looking to experience the beauty, tranquillity, and crystal-clear waters of the Ionian Islands. The boat is based in Vliho Bay, offering direct access to the Southern Ionian Islands. The base includes a pontoon, restaurant, hot showers, Wi-Fi, and a friendly team ready to assist with everything from transfers to route planning. The yacht charter price includes- • First and last night pontoon fees on our Vliho Yacht Club pontoon. • Dinghy and outboard (including outboard fuel). • Full fuel and water tanks. • Bed linen and towels (beach towels not included). • Starter pack which includes tea, coffee, sugar, salt & pepper, water, cleaning products, bin bags, tea towels and toilet roll. • Masks and snorkles. • Final cleaning of the yacht. • Route planning. • Maps & pilot book (including Rod Heikle) • 24/7 support. The only extras you pay for are- • Yacht diesel used during the charter. We arrange for the fuel to be delivered directly to the boat at our pontoon on your return. The diesel tank must be refilled and payment is made directly to the diesel truck driver. Check in is 16.00 pm, we always try to have the boat ready earlier if you are arriving before 16.00 pm but we cannot guarantee this. Check out is 10.00 am, we ask that you arrive back at our pontoon before 5.00 pm the day before or between 8.30 am and 9.00 am on the day. The skipper of the boat must hold a current qualification/certification from their country that allows them to charter a boat of the same type and size. The Port Police require the skipper to sign a declaration confirming the above. An ICC is required for skippers from the UK. Please note: If you are booking a bareboat charter (without one of our skippers) we require a 2500 Euros refundable security deposit. As part of check-in, we ask that you complete and sign a credit card security form. This would only be retained in the unlikely event of major damage to the boat. We do however understand that things can happen at sea, and you may lose a fender or a towel overboard etc, but these are just charged at cost price on your return. We also offer additional services to ensure you have the best holiday! • WIFI Hub • Stand up paddle board • Provisioning • Additional bed linen and towels

Indicative route. The final itinerary and overnight stops depend on weather, availability and the skipper's decision.

  1. Day 1 - Vliho Yacht Club

Check-in at the marina behind the canal, the base for the whole Ionian.

  2. Day 2 - Meganisi

Sheltered bays and small harbours, several with tavernas and yacht moorings.

  3. Day 3 - Fiskardo

A historic harbour in northern Kefalonia where much of the older architecture survived the 1953 earthquake.

  4. Day 4 - Ithaca

Odysseus's island: steep green hills and the small harbour at Kioni.

  1. Day 5 - Kastos

One village, a few hundred metres of quay and almost no cars.

  2. Day 6 - Kalamos

The harbour taverna takes lines from arriving boats, as it has for decades.

  3. Day 7 - Vliho Yacht Club

Back at the base: the boat is handed over in the morning.

Booking

How do I book a yacht?
Pick your dates and the crew option on the yacht's page, check the price breakdown, leave your details and pay. We send a confirmation request to the charter company, and once it answers, the booking is confirmed. The confirmation and the documents arrive by email.
Is availability shown in real time?
Availability is refreshed every hour from the charter companies' systems, and the catalogue once a day. The final availability and price are re-checked with the operator at the moment of booking, so what you see on the payment page has already been verified with them.
When is a booking considered confirmed?
Once the charter company has confirmed it in its own system. Until then the booking is being processed and your card is only held, not charged. If the operator declines, the hold is released and you pay nothing.
Can a yacht be put on option?
Yes, if the operator allows it: the yacht is held without payment for a limited time that the charter company itself sets. If the option runs out unpaid, the yacht is released and the booking goes back to the quote stage.

Payment

Which payment methods are available?
Online we accept card payment through Stripe. Some charges are collected by the charter base in person at check-in: the tourist tax, the refundable security deposit, fuel. Those are paid directly at the base.
Do I have to pay 100% up front?
If the charter starts more than two months from now, a 50% prepayment is usually enough, with the rest due before the start. If it starts within two months, the full amount is due at once. The exact terms for a particular yacht are shown in the price breakdown before you pay.
Can I pay by card?
Yes. The payment happens in Stripe's form, and we neither receive nor store your card number.
Is paying through Stripe safe?
Card details are entered in Stripe's secure form and never reach our servers. All we keep is the payment identifier, which we use to check its status.

Prices

What is included in the rental price?
The rental price is the yacht itself for the chosen period, with its standard equipment. The operator's obligatory charges and the optional extras are listed separately in the price breakdown, so the final total is visible before you pay.
What is a Charter Pack?
It is the charter base's standard package. It usually covers a gas cylinder, full fresh-water tanks, electricity at the base and a berth in the home marina for the whole charter. Operators put it together and name it differently, so check its contents and price in the extras list of the particular yacht.
What extra costs can come up?
Most often the final cleaning, the tourist tax, fuel, berths in marinas other than the home one, a skipper or a hostess, water toys. We show the obligatory charges in the price breakdown; the rest depends on your route.
Is fuel included?
No. Fuel is paid separately, usually by actual consumption when the yacht is returned to the base.

Licences

Do I need a skipper's licence?
For a bareboat yacht you need a licence recognised in the country of the charter, and in most destinations a radio certificate as well. If you take the yacht with a skipper or with a crew, no licence is needed.
Can I charter a yacht with a skipper?
Yes, if the operator offers that option. The crew choice is on the yacht's page, and the skipper's cost is added to the price breakdown.

Travel

What should I bring with me?
Identity documents for everyone on board, and the skipper's licence if you are sailing bareboat. A soft bag rather than a suitcase, because there is nowhere to stow hard cases. Shoes with light, non-slip soles, sun protection, personal medication. Bed linen and towels are usually provided by the base.
What are the check-in / check-out times?
Check-in and check-out times are set by the charter base and are stated on each yacht's page. Most often check-in is in the afternoon and check-out in the morning.
Can the route be changed?
Yes, you choose the route yourself within the permitted sailing area. Individual restrictions do exist, for example crossing into another country or sailing out to remote islands, and those are agreed with the base in advance.
What should I do in bad weather?
Go by the forecast and by the base's advice. In dangerous conditions the base can restrict going out to sea. It is a question of safety, and deciding to sit the weather out in the marina is a normal part of sailing.

Cancellation

What are the cancellation terms?
Cancellation terms are set by the charter company and differ between operators and rates. Before booking, contact us to request the cancellation terms for your chosen yacht and dates.
Can a booking be rescheduled?
Rescheduling depends on the charter company and on whether other dates are free. Write to us and we will put the request to the operator.
